West Valley, CA – Car Wreck on I-5 near SR 170 Results in injuries
West Valley, CA (February 21, 2022) – A car accident caused injuries in West Valley on the evening of February 21. At approximately 11:00 p.m., sources say the wreck happened on Interstate 5 for reasons still being investigated.
Authorities responded to the scene located on Interstate 5 near State Route 170. At least one person was hurt in the crash. Paramedics assisted injured parties at the scene before transporting those who were seriously hurt to local hospitals for further care.
The total number of injured crash victims has not been reported at this time. Police shut down the roadway while crews worked on-site to investigate and assist injured parties. Meanwhile, local drivers were forced to find alternative travel routes for the time being.
