West Covina, CA – One Dead, One Injured in Fiery I-10 Crash
West Covina, CA (April 29, 2022) – One person died and another was injured when a vehicle erupted into flames after colliding with another vehicle on the 10 Freeway on Wednesday, April 27th in West Covina.
California Highway Patrol reported to the scene at about 12:00 a.m. On their arrival, they discovered a two-vehicle accident with one vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
Covina Fire Department also responded and was able to quickly extinguish the flames. Upon doing so, they discovered one person inside the vehicle. The victim was pronounced at the scene.
An occupant of the other vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of the accident remains undetermined.
