Santa Monica, CA – Traffic Crash Takes One Life on Cloverfield Blvd
Santa Monica, CA (June 24, 2022) – Armando Hernandez was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash that happened in Santa Monica on June 24. At approximately 3:30 a.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene to assist those involved.
Reports show that the wreck happened near the eastbound 10 Freeway ramp on Cloverfield Boulevard when a motorcyclist struck Hernandez, 21. Hernandez was trying to cross the freeway for reasons unknown.
Police responded to the scene and pronounced Hernandez deceased due to the severity of his injuries. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital for treatment.
Police continue to investigate the details of the incident. The crash temporarily closed Cloverfield Boulevard while responders worked to secure the scene.
