Pomona, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit & Run on Holt Ave near New York Dr
Pomona, CA (July 13, 2022) – A pedestrian was killed in a fatal hit-and-run collision on Monday, July 11 in Pomona. Initial reports reveal the wreck happened at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Police actively responded to the scene located on Holt Avenue near New York Drive. Responders found a man aged 30 to 40 who had been severely injured in a collision.
Evidence at the crash site showed that he was struck by a car while attempting to cross the street. The man was rushed to a local hospital where he was declared deceased. Police checked the area for a vehicle, however, they were unable to find one.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
