Los Angeles, CA – Two Seriously Injured in Accident at Los Angeles International Airport near Circle & Center Way
Los Angeles, CA (July 22, 2022) – Two people were seriously hurt in a car wreck on Thursday, July 21 at the Los Angeles International Airport. Police reported that an LAX-operated bus carrying approximately 23 persons and a driver were involved in a crash at approximately 12:20 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department stated that the wreck happened when a driver who was transporting passengers to and from the LAXit ride pickup lot collided with a pillar after miscalculating a turn. The incident happened at the lower level of Circle and Center Way.
Two individuals were injured in the accident and transported to a local hospital in serious condition, reports said. Seven others were transported with minor injuries.
Officials at the airport stated that the incident affected traffic throughout the airport for approximately two hours. Police in Los Angeles continue to investigate the details of the crash.
