Los Angeles, CA – One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Santa Monica 10 Fwy near Coventry Pl
Los Angeles, CA (February 7, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported early Thursday morning near Cheviot Hills claimed one person’s life. At around 2:05 a.m., on February 3, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on the Santa Monica 10 Freeway.
Reports from authorities show that a silver SUV and a UPS truck collided on the Freeway in the area of Coventry Place during the early morning hours.
The incident caused severe delays in the area as crews closed off the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene from their injuries.
At this time, the number of injured parties is not known.
Authorities in Los Angeles are investigating the incident.
