Los Angeles, CA – Four Injured in Wrong-Way Collision on Hwy 101 near Alisos Canyon Rd
Los Angeles, CA (March 9, 2022) – On Tuesday, March 8, a wrong-way collision resulted in injuries on a highway in Los Angeles. The wreck was reported to have taken place at around 7:40 p.m.
Sources say the incident occurred on Highway 101 near Alisos Canyon Road when a southbound vehicle drove into the northbound lanes and collided with another car.
Emergency responders had to extricate at least three people who were pinned underneath the wreckage. One person was air-lifted to the hospital by a CalStar medical helicopter, according to reports. Their injuries were deemed critical.
Two other victims were rushed to an area hospital with critical injuries. One other had minimal injuries. At this time, police continue to investigate the details of the crash.
