Long Beach, CA – Fatal Traffic Accident on Long Beach Fwy near Willow St
Long Beach, CA (July 11, 2022) – A car crash turned fatal in Long Beach on Monday, July 11. At approximately 5:30 a.m., responders were sent to the scene to help those involved.
The incident occurred on the Long Beach Freeway near Willow Street, information from the California Highway Patrol shows. At least one person lost their life in the collision, however, at this time, the total number of victims has not been reported.
Two northbound left lanes of the freeway were closed while police investigated the details of the accident. Local motorists were urged to use different routes while crews were present in the area.
Currently, authorities in Long Beach continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
