California Car Accidents
Sustaining injuries in a car crash can leave a lasting impact on the lives of victims and their families. Over 400,000 accidents take place in our state each year. Although we want everyone to walk away from accidents unharmed, unfortunately, this does not always happen. Automobile accidents throughout the state of California cause approximately 200,000 people to sustain injuries per year.
The vast majority of these accidents are caused by human error. In fact, statistics show that reckless driving, negligence, speeding, driving while impaired, and other careless actions while operating vehicles contribute to more than 90% of collisions in the United States each year.
Not only are crash victims forced to endure mental and emotional suffering, but they are often required to spend tens of thousands of dollars on medical treatment, property damages, and more. After enduring the loss of a loved one in an accident, caused by the negligent actions of others, families can reach out to a California car crash lawyer to explore legal options available to them moving forward.
