Car Crash Case on Sunset & La Cienega Handled by Attorney Jennie Levin
On Sunday, May 21st, there was a two-car, multi-pedestrian accident at the intersection of La Cienega and Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. Reports claim that two vehicles collided into one another at the busy intersection, throwing one of them, a minivan, into people standing curbside. Three people inside the two vehicles were hurt, as well as four pedestrians.
Every injured party was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. The two passengers inside the minivan and all four pedestrians are said to have suffered “minor injuries” from the car accident. The injury report of the seventh individual has not been released to the public at this time. It might mean that this person has suffered catastrophic injury.
At this time, authorities have not concluded the cause of the accident. The only statement that has been released by Los Angeles fire officials’ notes that alcohol intoxication is not believed to be a crash-related factor.
Other speculations that may indicate the cause of the crash are the time and the age of one of the drivers. The accident happened at 6:25 PM, which could indicate that a setting sun blinded one of the motorists. The driver of the minivan is reportedly an elder, which could indicate a slower reaction time to dangerous traffic conditions.
