Bellflower, CA (July 04, 2022) – A motorcyclist was left to die after they were struck by the driver of an SUV that then decided to flee the scene on Saturday, July 2nd in Bellflower.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident took place at about 8:50 p.m. in the area of Alondra Boulevard and Woodruff Avenue.
Deputies said that the motorcyclist was riding northbound on Woodruff Avenue when an SUV swerved into oncoming traffic and collided with the rider.
The driver of the SUV continued down Woodruff Avenue without stopping, rendering aid, or notifying police.
